Santa purchased the bar for me for Christmas! I really enjoy it. It puts a new spin on my overhead press and bench and it’s fun to work with the grip and forearms and just standard lifts like RDL‘s and Douglas. The knurling is perfect -
Similar to my Ohio bar, and I love the fact that the whole bar is knurled. And with the red color in my black Jim, it just looks bad ass!

I'm a competitive powerlifter with many records, bench being my specialty. I bench 4x a week and 1rm is twice bodyweight now after 8+ years.
In competition we pause on the chest and practicing pauses with volume can irritate my chest so I use my squat bar on occasion. It's 32mm and I can't get a great grip on it but it's better than 300+ lb of 29mm pressing into me. If only I knew about this bar sooner!

I compete in strongman and this axle bar is now the best and highest quality axle bar available. Most axle bar are cheaply made - in fact, many of us probably have one we have made from steel pipe. But as with all things, we can evolve and raise the standard. This axle is the new standard for excellence. I have used it for overheads, deadlifts, curls, etc. and it is excellent. The knurling and rotating collars are a game changer. I already have the TPB squat bar and TPB bodybuilding bar. This is the latest bar from TPB. It won't be my last.

Texas deadlift bars are hands down the best deadlift bar I've lifted. This is my third Texas bar and expectations were met as always. Knurling, whip, and proportions are spot on. Easy to maintain with a legendary name to back it up. Only Texas bars in my house!
The axle bar is amazing,I got the red cerakote and the finish is flawless,the knurling is great ,no need for chalk till you get to the heaviest sets.great bar,great company will definitely be getting more bars from them..

Been lifting almost 9 year, I'm a competition record holding powerlifter and Armlifting athlete. I own almost every possible configuration of barbells from multiple companies The MOMENT I heard about this bar I had it on order immediately! Just competed with the Texas Deadlift Bar and absolutely loved it.
Used it for deadlift and bench so far. I compete in a grip sport called Armlifting and we do double overhand gripping deadlift. This lets me train with zero chalk and much heavier weight. 5 star performance!
For bench press I did some pause reps and it was so comfortable! The wide bar rests comfortably and the powerlifting knurl marks made it so easy to grip my competition width. 5 stars again.

The knurling is very good on the bar. The bar has very good whip. The bar overall feels very durable and is much better than my son’s other bar.
